Arroz con Leche

1 cup rice (short grain, preferable)
4 cups water
4 cups milk
1 large or 3 small stick cinnamon
1 can Sweetened condensed milk or ½ cup sugar        
Powdered cinnamon
Raisins
        

1.    Boil the rice in water 35 minutes with the cinnamon and sugar or sweetened condensed milk. Boil uncovered.
2.    When the rice is soft, add the milk.
3.    Simmer for 15 minutes, or more, to evaporate some liquid
4.    Stir in raisins.
5.    Pour in custard cups.
6.    Sprinkle with powdered cinnamon.
7.    Cool down in the fridge.  Can also be eaten warm.
